Yadira Hurtado is an Environmental Social Governance (ESG) professional with more than twenty years of global experience in compliance, risk mitigation, and incident response. Yadira is adept at developing and implementing health and safety (EHS) management systems, conducting risk assessments, policy development, operational strategy, and stakeholder engagement. Yadira began her career as a labor, human rights, and environmental compliance auditor, giving her a ground-level understanding of assessment processes and supply chain issues in over 35 countries. Her senior management experience includes serving as Director, Member Engagement for the Association of Professional Social Compliance Auditors (APSCA), overseeing Health and Safety for the U.S. and Canada for WeWork, and as Senior Certification Manager for Fair Trade USA.

Yadira has a master’s degree in international relations and affairs from the University of California, San Diego School of Global Policy and Strategy, with a focus on environmental sustainability and policy and a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Yadira is fluent in English and Spanish. She is currently based in Southern California.
